  1. Note: If you have installed an older release of current year software, move file TaxFreeway for Mac 2012.app from Desktop to Trash before download a new release. This ensures your Mac to run the new release.
  2. Click link TaxFreeway12.dmg above to download the file.
  3. The file TaxFreeway12.dmg is a disk image file. You can think of it as a USB drive. After downloading, double-click file TaxFreeway12.dmg to open/mount the disk image.
    (Note: If you see the message that TaxFreeway12.dmg not recognized, the file is not downloaded successfully. Restart the installation from Step 2.)
  4. Inside the disk, there is only one application file called TaxFreeway for Mac 2012.app (with a green icon). Drag the green icon from the disk to Desktop of your Mac. See illustration below.
  5. Double-click the newly created TaxFreeway for Mac 2012.app file on Desktop to run the software.
Firefox
  1. Note: If you have installed an older release of current year software, move file TaxFreeway for Mac 2012.app from Desktop to Trash. Also, move file TaxFreeway12.dmg to Trash.
  2. Open Firefox and use menu Tools->Clear Private Data->tick box Cache and click button Clear Private Data Now. (Otherwise, Firefox could use a cached copy.) (Menu items might be different for different Firefox versions.)
  3. Click link TaxFreeway12.dmg above to download the file.
  4. The file TaxFreeway12.dmg is a disk image file. You can think of it as a USB drive. After downloading, double-click file TaxFreeway12.dmg to open/mount the disk image.
